IT Support Specialist

TL;DR

IT Support Specialist (Mac/Google Workspace): Providing hands-on IT support for remote and in-office Mac users and managing core tools with an accent on access control, device management, and workflow automation. Focus on partnering with HR/Ops for onboarding, improving IT processes, and scaling secure operations for a growing international team.

Location: On-site in Amsterdam office (minimum 4 days/week), full legal right to work in the Netherlands required (no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance). Work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Provide daily hands-on IT support for remote team, focusing on Mac devices and core tools.
• Manage access, permissions, and user setups in Google Workspace, Slack, Kandji/iru, 1Password, Jira, and Confluence.
• Partner with HR and Ops for smooth onboarding/offboarding and operational workflows.
• Create and improve internal IT processes, identify automation opportunities, and own initiatives end-to-end.
• Help scale IT operations and maintain security as the team grows.

Requirements

• At least 4 years experience in similar IT support role.
• Solid experience supporting remote and in-person Mac environments in business settings.
• Comfortable managing IT operations for diverse international teams.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, Kandji/iru (or similar MDM), and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
• Proactive mindset for spotting inefficiencies, suggesting improvements, and automating workflows (scripting bonus).
• Strong communication skills for helping non-technical colleagues.
