What you will do

• Create detailed, stylized character art concepts and high-fidelity references for the Character Art team.
• Iterate quickly on detailed line art designs and create paintovers for 3D visualization.
• Storyboard concepts and pitches to clarify visual ideas.
• Collaborate with Design, Character Art, and Tech Art teams to bring the BioShock world to life.
• Assist in creating marketing art and in-game 2D assets.
• Identify visual or pipeline bottlenecks and propose visual innovations.

Requirements

• Degree in Fine Art or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the games industry, including at least one AAA title.
• Expertise in human anatomy and the AAA game concept art pipeline.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in French is required for candidates in Quebec.
• Proficiency in English is required for collaboration with US teams.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with 3D modeling and animation packages such as Maya or 3ds Max.
