What you will do

• Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Maintain general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare financial and management reports while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize AI tools and LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to automate routine tasks and identify anomalies.
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure adherence to accounting regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong grasp of double-entry bookkeeping, US GAAP, and IFRS standards.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, data validation).
• Experience with cloud-based accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online or ZohoBooks.
• Ability to adapt to and integrate AI tools (e.g., Claude) into professional workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with US sales tax compliance and reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations.
• Prior exposure to eCommerce accounting workflows.
• Experience with Excel automations.
