What you will do
- Define and execute category-specific strategies aligned with overall marketplace objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and prioritize impact initiatives in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Monitor and analyze daily performance metrics including GMV, conversion, and take rate.
- Forecast future demand and contribute to strategic planning for marketplace performance.
- Ensure successful launches for new sellers with high GMV expectations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to optimize pricing and promotions.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in ecommerce, retail, or marketplaces, specifically within Apparel, Home Improvement, or Appliances.
- Proven experience in category management and the execution of commercial strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or Zoho.
- Experience using analytical tools including Excel and Looker to interpret key metrics like GMV, conversion, and margins.
- Strong negotiation skills regarding pricing, commercial terms, and promotional strategies.
- Experience in Key Account Management (KAM) or strategic alliance development.
