Android Team Lead (Kotlin)

Location: Hybrid in Limassol or Tbilisi

What you will do

• Lead the Android team and ensure high-quality, predictable delivery.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop Android engineers.
• Set team goals, priorities, and expectations.
• Own planning, estimation, and delivery of Android features.
• Maintain engineering practices, architectural standards, and code quality.
• Coordinate with product, design, backend, frontend, and platform teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Previous experience in a Team Lead role.
• Hands-on knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM, or similar architectural patterns.
• Experience with asynchronous programming using coroutines and Flow.
• Experience building complex, data-heavy screens and understanding Android UI principles and platform guidelines.
• Experience with code reviews, engineering mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance or trading.
• Familiarity with hirify.global as a product.
