What you will do

• Take ownership of Android development, deeply understand codebase, and choose technologies for long-term needs
• Handle full product cycle: design, analytics, payments, authentication, custom views, APIs, 2D/3D graphics, VR, AI, CRDT
• Utilize Kotlin libraries, conduct code reviews, follow best practices, and develop modular architecture
• Mentor team, solve technical issues, provide feedback, and collaborate with technical/non-technical stakeholders
• Support hiring and influence product/tech decisions with real impact

Requirements

• 7+ years Android experience including leadership
• Extensive Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, Dagger, SQL/SQLite/Room, Coroutines/RxJava
• REST APIs, JSON/XML, Git, Protobuf, in-app payments/subscriptions
• Strong software design, code quality, testing; ability to make decisions, mentor, communicate clearly
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience with 2D/3D graphics (Canvas, OpenGL, Vulkan, Google Filament)
