What you will do
- Define Octoplant architecture and ensure alignment with OT and automation systems.
- Lead integration efforts with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and robotics.
- Design secure OT network topologies following ISA/IEC 62443 frameworks.
- Drive all implementation phases from discovery and configuration to go-live.
- Configure agents, connectors, and automated backup routines using industrial protocols.
- Mentor engineers and act as the primary technical reference for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in OT/industrial automation, with 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture.
- Proven hands-on expertise implementing AUVESY Octoplant or versiondog in industrial settings.
- Strong experience with PLC tools such as Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, or Schneider Unity Pro.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA platforms (e.g., WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition).
- Solid understanding of OT protocols (OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
- Fluent English proficiency for working in multicultural and international engineering contexts.
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of MES/MOM platforms and OT ecosystem integrations.
- Experience implementing cloud or hybrid Octoplant architectures.
- Relevant certifications from AUVESY, ISA/IEC, Siemens, or Rockwell.
