What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of Hyper-V virtualized test environments for critical energy system projects.
• Configure and maintain physical and virtual network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement system hardening and security measures in alignment with cybersecurity guidelines and patching activities.
• Automate environment maintenance and security testing using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for the test infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and create detailed documentation for network configurations and security procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in Moldova
• MSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Expert-level knowledge of Hyper-V (or VMware ESXi) and Windows Administration.
• Proven experience with physical and virtual network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash; PowerShell experience is a plus.
• English: Proficient spoken and written skills required

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux or macOS.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of database handling.
• German language proficiency.
