What you will do

• Perform and report clinical lab testing including extractions, library preparation, enrichments, and sequencing.
• Supervise team members and coordinate pre-analytical and post-analytical tasks.
• Implement and evaluate quality control materials for statistical process control of assays.
• Troubleshoot equipment and document corrective actions for system deviations.
• Assist in audits by regulatory bodies (e.g., CAP) and support necessary licensure.
• Train CLS and lab personnel on established laboratory methods.

Requirements

• Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license
• Bachelor's degree in sciences or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of CLS experience in a clinical laboratory environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Lead role

Nice to have

• Experience with manual DNA/RNA extractions and manual library preparation.
• Experience with automated liquid handlers.
