What you will do

• Perform tissue sectioning using a microtome and mount on glass slides.
• Execute routine staining (automated/manual) and coverslipping of tissue sections.
• Generate digital slide images for pathologist examination.
• Conduct manual and automated macrodissection.
• Operate laboratory instruments and perform regular maintenance.
• Document specimen data accurately in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Requirements

• Associate's degree in chemical/physical/biological science or NAACLS-accredited Histotechnology program.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in high-volume histology labs performing microtomy, H&E staining, and embedding.
• ASCP HT or HTL certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical laboratory tasks including stooping and bending.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Fremont, CA.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a laboratory science curriculum.
• Experience with IHC, digital imaging, and reading pathology reports.
