What you will do

• Oversee RUO, GLP, and CLIA/CAP laboratory operations and personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Manage recruiting, training, and development of testing personnel and supervisors.
• Lead validation, assay transfer, verification of LDTs, audits, inspections, and CAPAs.
• Develop strategic plans, AOPs, OKRs, capacity and cost models for scalability.
• Optimize logistics, TAT for patient samples, and drive analytical decision-making.
• Foster high-performance team culture with mentorship and cross-functional advocacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant scientific field (Advanced degree preferred)
• Current California CLS License (Generalist or Limited Molecular Biology) preferred
• 4-6+ years as California CLS for Senior Technical Supervisor qualification
• 10+ years in high-complexity, high-volume lab operations
• 5+ years management experience leading teams and managers
• Deep expertise in NGS, root cause analysis, logistics, capacity modeling, LIMS
