What you will do

• Create visual target images that define the project's visual direction, mood, and tone.
• Design environments, characters, props, weapons, and vehicles optimized for 3D asset translation.
• Produce paint-overs of existing level geometry to guide environment artists and level designers.
• Draft creative briefs and provide artistic feedback to external vendors to elevate quality.
• Collaborate with Art Directors to evolve style guides and ensure visual consistency across the project.
• Develop presentation deliverables for art reviews and stakeholder milestone decks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Concept Artist in the video game industry.
• Deep understanding of anatomy, lighting, composition, and color theory evidenced in a portfolio.
• Strong sense of industrial design and shape language, specifically regarding military hardware.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Working proficiency in 3D DCCs such as Unreal Engine, Blender, or Cinema4D.
• Strong estimation instincts and understanding of game production pipelines.
