Lead IT Engineer (Productivity Systems): Designing and implementing high-leverage automation and AI governance for engineering workflows with an accent on enterprise tool orchestration and platform stability. Focus on building Minimum Control Platforms, optimizing communication infrastructure via AWS SES, and defining technical standards for AI adoption.

Location: Hybrid in Brazil (Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo). Must be in the office at least twice a week.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of automation platforms like n8n to orchestrate workflows across business units.
• Design and optimize critical communication infrastructure, specifically AWS SES, to ensure high availability for messaging.
• Drive the technical strategy and governance frameworks for AI adoption and AI coding assistants within engineering workflows.
• Define and enforce usage standards for developer tools, such as Postman, to ensure consistency across squads.
• Act as a technical reference, mentoring senior engineers and collaborating with ITSec and Privacy teams on architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Clojure, Java, or Python and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (SES, Lambda, IAM) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier) and API integration.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Brazil (Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo).

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in integrating LLMs and AI agents into developer workflows (e.g., Cursor, Copilot).
