What you will do

• Own the end-to-end architecture of an OpenStack-based private cloud across multiple regions and data centers.
• Design, deploy, and operate large-scale Ceph clusters, including replication strategy and performance tuning.
• Architect and operate an Ironic-based BMaaS platform for hardware enrollment and lifecycle management at fleet scale.
• Lead the technical design of new data center buildouts and define reference architectures and hardware standards.
• Define the SDN strategy (OVN/OVS), tenant networking, and BGP/EVPN integration with the underlay.
• Mentor senior engineers, lead design reviews, and write architecture decision records (RFCs).

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in infrastructure engineering with a track record of architecting large-scale production platforms.
• Deep hands-on experience with production OpenStack clouds and lifecycle tooling (Kolla-Ansible, OpenStack-Ansible).
• Proven experience operating Ceph clusters in production, including CRUSH design and RGW at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Ironic for bare-metal provisioning and integration with Nova.
• Expert-level Linux systems engineering (Red Hat/Rocky) and deep understanding of SDN (OVN/OVS, BGP/EVPN).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Terraform, and Ansible for platform-level automation.
