What you will do

• Build, operate, and maintain core capabilities and components of the Engineering Platform.
• Design and build automation, tooling, and self-service mechanisms to accelerate product team delivery.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and contribute to the evolution of the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and Observability systems.
• Provide technical support and consultancy to product teams to inform the platform roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience operating and automating cloud infrastructure in AWS or GCP.
• Expertise in at least one of the following: storage, routing, cloud networking, org policy automation, or IAM.
• Programming experience with Golang, Python, JVM-based languages, or similar.
• Experience managing Kubernetes deployments and writing Kubernetes operators or controllers.
• Proven experience taking technical projects from design through to production.

Nice to have

• Experience writing code that interfaces directly with the Kubernetes API.
• Thorough understanding of idiomatic Go language features and practices.
• Familiarity with Grafana LGTM stack, Sentry, Open Telemetry, Concourse, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience building programmable APIs for both human and machine consumption.
