TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design and implement complex backend logic for SAP HCM Time Management.
  • Create and adapt customer-specific infotypes and tables for time tracking and evaluation.
  • Integrate time management services with the HCM landscape and external interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports for time management data and evaluations.
  • Perform unit tests, code reviews, and verify developer artifacts to ensure stability.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for implementation and development.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of extensive development experience in ABAP and ABAP OO.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SAP HCM architecture and infotype structures.
  • Proven track record in backend development specifically for HR processes.
  • Proficiency in handling customer-specific tables and backend logic adaptations.
  • English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or above.
  • Native German language proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Basic functional knowledge of SAP Time Management (PT) business processes.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA HCM, SAP Fiori, OData, and UI5.
  • Experience in public sector digitization projects for German authorities.
  • Knowledge of "HCM Processes & Forms" and Workflow Management.
  • Understanding of integration with digital personnel files and authorization management (TP17).
