Engineering Lead (Fintech)

TL;DR

Engineering Lead (Golang/Rust): Leading a team to build the next generation digital platform for trading, investing, and protecting digital assets with an accent on secure custody and cloud-native architecture. Location: Hybrid in Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich, or Sion. Must be a Swiss or European candidate wishing to move to Switzerland.

What you will do

• Act as a technical leader and enabler for a development team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into a timely roadmap.
• Perform technical analysis and design of system requirements.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Take full ownership of the product from design and implementation to deployment and support.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of software development experience with a proven track record in managing teams as a tech lead.
• Strong proficiency in Golang, Java, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of the cloud-native ecosystem and modern software development practices (CD, testing).
• Solid experience in software and system architecture.
• Knowledge of Linux, networking, security, cryptography, and distributed systems.
• Must be a Swiss or European citizen/resident wishing to move to Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, or Flutter.
• Experience within the blockchain and DeFi ecosystems.
• Background in trading, finance, and digital assets.
