Counselor (Behavioral Health)

Salary: $21.00-24.00 Per Hour

What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment programs and collect social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, maintain records, and perform follow-ups.
• Provide crisis intervention, intake services, and supportive counseling.
• Coordinate care with community providers and make appropriate referrals.
• Participate in in-service training, conferences, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor's degree in related Human Services field.
• Must have one of the following licensure: CADC, LCADC, LCADCA, LCSW, LPCC, MFT, LPA, CSW, LPCA, LMFT.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to handle confidential issues, make decisions under stress, and comply with federal/state regulations.
