What you will do

• Monitor legislative and regulatory actions across various states affecting the payments and financial services industry.
• Analyze government policies and prepare impact reports and evaluations for review.
• Create materials for meetings with government representatives, including executive summaries and talking points.
• Coordinate campus tours and meetings with elected officials and their staff.
• Maintain automated tools for tracking legislation and collating government relations literature.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in political science, economics, communications, law, public relations, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (e.g., as a paralegal, law clerk, or through internships with state/federal officials).
• Proficiency in research methodologies and basic statistical techniques.
