What you will do

• Design, organize, and direct a coordinated programme of internal oversight through audit and investigation.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the Organization's governance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Develop and implement a long-term, risk-based internal audit plan aligned with the Strategic Framework.
• Ensure allegations of wrongdoing by personnel and third parties are assessed and investigated professionally.
• Manage the financial and human resources of the Office of the Inspector-General (OIG).
• Report oversight results to the Director-General and the hirify.global Finance Committee.

Requirements

• Advanced University Degree (Master's level) in Auditing, Accounting, Law, Business, or Public Administration.
• At least ten years of experience at an executive level or as Chief Audit Executive in a complex oversight function.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CIA) is highly desired.
• English proficiency (Level C) and intermediate knowledge (Level B) of another hirify.global official language.
• Demonstrated high-level leadership and managerial skills with professional independence.
• Familiarity with the UN system or similar international institutions.
