What you will do
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Customer Activation team.
- Lead the roadmap for the marketing automation platform (Customer.io) to enable faster campaign creation by business stakeholders.
- Convert complex business and technical problems into data products and platform configurations.
- Integrate relevant data into automation tools to reduce dependency on engineering teams.
- Partner with business analysts, engineers, and marketing/sales managers across Italy, Spain, and the UK.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management or adjacent roles in software development and business analytics.
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to use data for system performance analysis and prioritization.
- Proven ability to decompose complex technical domains into actionable insights and measurable success criteria.
- Fluency in discussing data and analytics with engineering teams and analysts.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work in Milan, Italy (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Experience with ecommerce or sectors with high volumes of direct customer communication.
- Prior experience with configurable CRM or marketing automation systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Customer.io).
- Business proficiency in Italian.
- Technical foundation in SQL, programming, or software architecture.
- Experience managing multi-market products.
