TL;DR

What you will do

  • Manage a highly available and fault-tolerant production environment.
  • Identify and resolve performance concerns and operational bottlenecks.
  • Design and maintain self-serve developer experience (DevEx) tools to increase development velocity.
  • Optimize systems for cost-effectiveness, performance, and simplicity.
  • Advise on system architecture solutions and debug complex technical pitfalls.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working in Linux environments.
  • Production experience with Public Cloud and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of IaC concepts and experience with Terraform, Cloudformation, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Broad knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Elasticsearch.
  • Location: Must be based in Tel Aviv District, Israel

Nice to have

  • Experience with software development and development frameworks.
  • Experience provisioning and operating relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) databases.
  • Knowledge of event streaming and messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or TeamCity.
  • Hands-on experience with Python.
