TL;DR

Lead Platform Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Designing and evolving shared platform building blocks and horizontal capabilities for SaaS products with an accent on scalability, multi-tenancy, and developer enablement. Focus on building self-service tools, driving GitOps practices, and ensuring production-grade reliability of distributed systems.

Location: Hybrid in Raanana, Israel (2 days office, 3 days remote)

What you will do

  • Lead the design of shared platform capabilities and standardized building blocks to accelerate delivery across X-Sight products.
  • Drive architectural decisions for advanced SaaS requirements including scale, resiliency, and multi-tenancy.
  • Implement modern technologies like cloud-native patterns, GitOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Build internal self-service platform tools to enhance developer productivity and operational safety.
  • Mentor engineering teams and partner with R&D and product owners to translate needs into reusable solutions.
  • Ensure platform components are production-ready, observable, and secure.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
  • At least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Proven track record of designing shared systems used by multiple teams.
  • Solid background in distributed systems and SaaS architectures.

  • Experience with observability stacks (metrics, logs, traces).
