What you will do

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex BESS faults across all Australia sites.
• Develop and improve fault recovery systems using data-driven insights to minimize system downtime.
• Standardize technical processes and maintenance procedures across the region to ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage technical communications with customers and lead negotiations with equipment vendors.
• Provide technical expertise during commissioning of new BESS installations, including testing, validation, and optimization.
• Collaborate with the Network Operations Centre to enhance incident response and develop training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Professional experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically in field services or operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and maintenance practices.
• Solid understanding of high-voltage systems and HV switching procedures.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing vendor relationships.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and the APAC region as required.
