TL;DR
Software Professional (Security): Developing and maintaining bespoke, high-complexity specialist capabilities critical to customer success with an accent on secure software engineering and agile delivery. Focus on delivering high-quality software solutions, resolving complex technical issues, and implementing secure coding practices.
Location: Manchester, UK. Must be based in the office 5 days a week (no remote options). Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years and be eligible for DV Security Clearance.
Salary: Competitive (Potential £5k per annum DV allowance)

What you will do
- Deliver high-quality and well-tested software solutions on time and on budget.
- Work closely with customers to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Take personal responsibility for the delivery of discrete software engineering tasks.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to develop team knowledge and capability.
- Share knowledge through documentation and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance (requires 10+ years of UK residency).
- Degree in a STEM subject with at least a predicted 2:2.
- Experience with object-oriented software engineering and Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in languages such as C++, C#, Python, or the MEAN stack.
- Experience using tools like Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
