Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, conceptualize, and create 2D animation pieces for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with engineering, creative, and communications teams to identify priority projects and produce innovative content.
• Monitor company milestones to initiate and create supporting visual content.
• Manage and evaluate third-party vendors to enhance creative output and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain ownership of the final product's quality, adhering to strict accuracy requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of professional experience creating 2D motion graphics in After Effects.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (Green Card), Refugee, or Asylee (ITAR requirements).
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hawthorne, CA.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends to support prototyping and product launches.
• Online portfolio with examples of 2D animation work is required.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Experience with Lottie files, Figma, Cavalry, or Jitter.
• Experience with 3D animation and data processing tools (QGIS, ParaViewer).
• Scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
