TL;DR
Art Director (Experiential Design): Designing and directing visual execution for immersive, large-scale installations at Sphere with an accent on storytelling and innovative digital formats. Location: Onsite in Burbank, CA
Salary: $4,500–$5,000 per week

What you will do
- Design and direct the visual execution of creative concepts across Sphere’s entire portfolio of experiences.
- Lead and direct design and animation teams to spearhead complex creative projects.
- Research and deliver visual development for creative pitches and proposals for brand partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to integrate stakeholder feedback and maintain creative excellence.
- Partner with the production team to ensure deliverables are completed within budget and timescales.
- Mentor and inspire junior design talent to deliver high professional standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Design and Art Direction experience in a creative studio or agency.
- Proven track record in large-scale experiential activations, immersive experiences, and artful storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and 3D software.
- Must be based in Burbank, CA (Onsite).
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to lead discussions and captivate audiences.
- Ability to balance creative expression with pragmatic design and business needs.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Deep experience with emerging technology and real-time content.
