What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Integrate AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Cursor to optimize code writing, refactoring, and documentation.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and manage interactions with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Create modular, reusable Angular components to enhance the user experience.
• Use Docker for containerization to ensure consistency across development and production environments.
• Collaborate through agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Java 17/21+ and proficiency with Spring Boot.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern Angular (v17+ preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Git, including branching strategies like gitflow.
• Ability to write Dockerfiles and manage containerized images.
• Experience in Prompt Engineering and the ability to critically audit AI-generated code for security and performance.
• Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal

Nice to have

• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini APIs.
• Familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone) or LangChain.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma.
• Familiarity with Liferay CMS.
