Salary: $140,000 – $170,000

What you will do

• Diagnose electrical issues through hands-on testing and over-the-air data acquisition in collaboration with software and controls engineers.
• Troubleshoot harnesses and electrical integration issues directly on the manufacturing floor to support production teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring production and field issues.
• Partner with technicians and assemblers to optimize installation methods, routing paths, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with outsourced harness suppliers on design intent, build quality, ECNs, and production readiness.
• Develop and improve test procedures for harness validation, continuity, hipot, and end-of-line verification.

Requirements

• Experience in marine, automotive, or EV vehicle production environments.
• Proven ability to resolve line-down or build-impacting issues quickly in a production setting.
• Proficiency interfacing with electrical schematics, formboards, drawings, and engineering change releases.
• Hands-on experience building, reworking, or repairing harnesses.
• Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using multimeters, scopes, and standard electrical tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ABYC, ISO, IPC/WHMA-A-620, UL, or IEC standards.
• Experience designing LV harness assemblies, preferably using Zuken E.3.
• Experience with HV cable assemblies, shielding, grounding, and safety systems.
• Familiarity with CAD-to-formboard bridge tools like NX to Zuken Bridge.
• Experience with outsourced harness suppliers or offshore production partners.
