What you will do

• Design and build the internal AI platform, including RAG pipelines, vector search infrastructure, and conversational interfaces.
• Evaluate, integrate, and operate open-source and cloud-hosted LLMs in production, optimizing for accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Develop secure ingestion and indexing pipelines for knowledge sources like Confluence, SharePoint, and internal APIs.
• Build backend services and APIs to expose AI capabilities to internal users and product teams.
• Define engineering standards for the AI function, including testing, deployment, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Own the full development lifecycle from initial requirements through to production monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on production AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Elasticsearch), and LLM integration.
• Strong backend engineering skills in API design and microservices, with proficiency in Python.
• Practical experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation methodologies.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
• English: Fluent proficiency required.

• Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, telecommunications, or ISO 27001 compliance.
