What you will do

• Develop and maintain a hierarchy of product metrics for Search & Recommendations to reflect true product quality.
• Design, launch, and interpret A/B tests, while improving automation for experiment analysis.
• Conduct product research to identify growth opportunities and formulate hypotheses.
• Analyze user behavior patterns to independently uncover actionable insights.
• Influence goal setting and project prioritization within the team based on data.
• Develop self-service capabilities and build AI pipelines/agents to automate routine analysis.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics and hands-on experience with A/B testing.
• Strong SQL skills and basic Python proficiency.
• AI-native mindset with the ability to automate workflows using AI tools.
• Ability to solve non-trivial problems under conditions of incomplete data.
• Proactivity and readiness to take full ownership of metrics and product evolution.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience in search, recommendations, ML-driven products, or e-commerce.
• Understanding of ML fundamentals.
• Experience building AI pipelines and agents.
