What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain C/C++ components for network security products in Unix/Linux environments.
• Implement end-to-end features for a network intrusion detection system to enhance stability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with client-side engineers and QA specialists to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Analyze network traffic and system behavior to troubleshoot protocol layers using Wireshark.
• Develop multithreaded applications applying object-oriented design principles.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including planning and iterative delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ software development.
• Strong knowledge of STL containers and OOP principles.
• Experience building and maintaining multithreaded client/server applications.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP stack (MAC, ARP, IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP/S, DNS, DHCP).
• Practical experience with Unix/Linux and network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark.
• English proficiency for effective communication within a distributed, multicultural team.
• Must be based in Ukraine.
