Legal Counsel (SaaS): Managing commercial contracts, GDPR compliance, and AI regulatory monitoring for a visual e-commerce solution with an accent on commercial negotiation and data privacy. Location: Paris, France. Hybrid (3 days/week in office). Relocation support and visa sponsorship available only for positions based in France.
Compensation: €63,000 – €76,000 + Stock-Options/BSPCE

What you will do
- Own commercial contracts end-to-end, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements for sales, growth, product, and engineering teams.
- Advance GDPR compliance by implementing privacy by design and strengthening data treatment registers and IT security routines.
- Monitor evolving AI regulations and assess their impact on machine learning and AI product development.
- Maintain the company's IP position through trademark registrations and domain name monitoring.
- Provide legal support on corporate, labour, and public affairs matters as the business expands.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of legal experience in tech, either at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel at a SaaS startup/scale-up.
- Master's degree in law.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Hands-on experience with commercial contracts and expertise in at least one area: GDPR/privacy, IP, or regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently in an async, fast-moving environment.
