What you will do

• Develop libraries and services providing authorization, authentication, and personalization capabilities.
• Write maintainable, high-quality code, tests, and documentation to minimize system risk.
• Collaborate through pairing, code reviews, and continuous delivery practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle, including occasional out-of-hours support.
• Participate in agile planning and delivery processes within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to team members with varying technical levels.

Requirements

• Production experience in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure (CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, Kinesis, WAF, or ALB).
• Strong understanding of HTTP and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with CIAM standards, specifically OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Must be based in or able to commute to London or Salford for hybrid work (1 day/week).

Nice to have

• Exposure to non-functional considerations like monitoring, performance, availability, and security.
• Experience supporting live incidents in high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD).
