What you will do
- Create and execute internal communications including enterprise emails, newsletters, and SharePoint content.
- Develop presentation materials and internal campaigns for HQ digital monitors.
- Plan and support logistical needs for Town halls, leadership meetings, and streamed events via Microsoft Teams.
- Manage social media content planning, publishing, and community engagement.
- Draft press releases and award submissions to enhance external visibility.
- Support corporate responsibility communications and collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Must be based in or able to work in Chicago, IL (Virtual/Hybrid setup).
Nice to have
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Sprout Social.
- Knowledge of HubSpot or similar internal email platforms.
- Experience with media distribution platforms like Business Wire.
- Interest in corporate branding and storytelling.
