What you will do

• Supervise and mentor counselors through feedback, documentation, and weekly sessions.
• Conduct one-on-one and group therapy, develop treatment plans, and maintain records.
• Provide hands-on training via observation, case reviews, and in-service sessions.
• Lead treatment team meetings, implement programs, and manage caseloads.
• Coordinate with community providers, handle crisis interventions, and ensure quality through peer reviews.
• Promote licensure/certification for unlicensed counselors and participate in public relations.

Requirements

• Must have license or substance use counselor certification (ADC, ALC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LAC, or LPC)
• Three years of relevant clinical experience post-master’s degree
• Comply with federal/state regulations for certification/licensure/degree
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and handle confidential issues
• Knowledge of human behavior, substance abuse treatment, and rehabilitation
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment
