Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, US (Remote with possible in-person requirements at Booz Allen or customer facility)

Salary: $99,000 - $225,000 (annualized USD)

What you will do

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise data platform integrations.
• Implement integration patterns including real-time, batch, and event-driven architectures.
• Integrate APIs with AWS cloud-native services and multiple mission systems/data sources.
• Define API standards, enforce governance, and support secure data sharing organization-wide.
• Collaborate with data engineers, cloud engineers, security teams, and product owners.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required
• Experience designing/developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and best practices (URL design, SLAs, security).
• Experience with integration patterns, API specs (OpenAPI, Swagger, RAML), Java/Python/Node.js, JSON/XML.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
• IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+) and Computing Environment cert (e.g., AWS CCP)

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, SQL, Scala, Java, other clouds (Azure, GCP).
• MuleSoft Anypoint, DevSecOps (GitLab CI/CD), Terraform, data governance frameworks.
• APIs for data products, analytics, enterprise data platforms/data lakes.
