TL;DR
Business Development Lead (DeFi): Driving institutional growth and building the sales function from scratch for a crypto insurance protocol with an accent on TradFi partnerships and on-chain coverage products. Focus on owning the institutional sales pipeline, structuring complex deals, and executing GTM strategies to bridge traditional finance with DeFi.
Location: Fully remote (Must be based in Europe)
Salary: Up to $220,000 base + commission

What you will do
- Own the institutional sales pipeline by identifying, targeting, and converting key clients.
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with product, risk, treasury, and compliance departments at tier 1–2 firms.
- Lead deal structuring and negotiations, executing the GTM strategy for on-chain coverage products.
- Represent the company externally and collaborate with founders, assessors, and underwriters to align the product with market demand.
Requirements
- Proven track record of closing complex B2B partnerships.
- Strong professional network consisting of TradFi institutions and cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Experience in onboarding traditional financial institutions into crypto or DeFi projects.
- Must be based in Europe.
