TL;DR

Senior Golang Developer (AdTech): Building and optimizing backend services and APIs for a next-generation AI-powered advertising platform with an accent on scalability, performance, and reliability. Focus on designing complex distributed systems, architecting reusable codebases, and mentoring engineers.

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid: 3 days remote per week)

What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of complex, scalable backend systems and services.
  • Architect and build reusable, maintainable backend codebases, shared services, and internal libraries.
  • Design and maintain robust APIs, data models, and service integrations.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and reliability.
  • Own backend features end-to-end from estimation and development to deployment and monitoring.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Solid backend engineering experience on production systems.
  • Strong expertise in Golang and concurrent service development.
  • Deep understanding of backend system design and the full application lifecycle.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and optimization.

Nice to have

  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and fault tolerance.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with production monitoring, logging, and debugging.
  • Ability to leverage AI-powered development tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
