TL;DR

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid: 3 days remote per week)

What you will do
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of complex, scalable backend systems and services.
- Architect and build reusable, maintainable backend codebases, shared services, and internal libraries.
- Design and maintain robust APIs, data models, and service integrations.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and reliability.
- Own backend features end-to-end from estimation and development to deployment and monitoring.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Solid backend engineering experience on production systems.
- Strong expertise in Golang and concurrent service development.
- Deep understanding of backend system design and the full application lifecycle.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and optimization.
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and fault tolerance.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with production monitoring, logging, and debugging.
- Ability to leverage AI-powered development tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
