Location: Must be part of a US-based team. Physical offices are in the Boston area, though remote working arrangements may be available.

What you will do

• Develop new architectures for quantum computing systems and quantum hybrid HPC.
• Design, code, debug, and integrate systems software components.
• Collaborate with the research community to inform architecture and design.
• Build a culture of HPC and scientific computing within the company.
• Supervise and mentor other team members.

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience.
• Production experience with HPC resource management systems (Slurm, PBS, LSF).
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, FORTRAN, Assembler, Julia, and Rust.
• Knowledge of quantum computing theory and practice.
• Production work in design and implementation of high-performance distributed parallel computing systems (MPI, OpenMP, libfabric, RDMA).
• Expertise in OS support for accelerators, DSP systems, and real-time scheduling.

Nice to have

• Experience in compiler implementation.
• Developer experience in academic research computing.
