What you will do

• Ensure compliance with CMMC, Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+), and potentially DefStan standards.
• Design, implement, and document security controls to maintain a state of constant audit readiness.
• Align IT operations with regulatory, contractual, and customer-specific cybersecurity requirements.
• Act as a bridge between governance, risk management, technical security, and audit readiness.
• Develop standard operating procedures using digital tools, AI, or automation to improve consistency.
• Manage audit processes and evidence handling to ensure structure and traceability.

Requirements

• Experience with CMMC, Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+), or comparable cybersecurity standards.
• Proven experience in information security governance, preferably aligned with ISO/IEC 27001.
• Strong understanding of on-premises, hybrid, and public cloud environments.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Successful completion of security vetting; additional citizenship requirements may apply for security clearance.
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required (C1).
