TL;DR

IAM Engineer (Cybersecurity): Designing and operating Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions to ensure secure access across IT and OT landscapes with an accent on automation and scalability. Focus on implementing RBAC models, integrating systems via APIs, and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, J-SOX, and NIS2.

Location: Hybrid: Based at Rotterdam HQ (40% office, 40% home, 20% flexible)

Salary: €62,000 – €88,000 gross annual

What you will do

  • Design and operate IGA solutions, primarily utilizing SailPoint.
  • Integrate cloud and on-prem applications through APIs, connectors, and custom workflows.
  • Own and automate end-to-end joiner, mover, and leaver processes to reduce manual risk.
  • Implement and refine RBAC models, role mining, and lifecycle policies.
  • Manage access reviews and recertification campaigns to strengthen segregation of duties.
  • Embed controls into system design to support compliance with ISO 27001, J-SOX, and NIS2.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in IAM/IGA engineering within enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management and RBAC/ABAC models.
  • Experience with directory services such as Entra ID, Active Directory, and LDAP.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Java) for automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with other IGA platforms.
  • Deep understanding of global compliance frameworks.
