What you will do

• Define practical guardrails, safe defaults, and governance for AI systems
• Shape privacy, PII handling, and data-safe patterns for AI workflows
• Contribute to provider/model guidance, validation, and usage expectations
• Translate policy/risk needs into reusable platform patterns and controls
• Define production-ready expectations, readiness checks, and scalable mechanisms
• Improve logging, tracing, observability for auditable AI operations
• Partner with Security, Legal, Architecture, and engineering teams
• Mentor on AI safety, governance, and privacy-aware engineering

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production systems experience
• Practical experience in security, governance, privacy, compliance, or risk engineering for AI/LLM systems
• Understanding of AI-specific risks like privacy exposure, unsafe outputs, provider misuse
• Experience translating policy/risk into engineering controls and patterns
• Knowledge of observability, auditability for production AI systems
• Good experience with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders
• Pragmatic judgment balancing safety, speed, and developer experience

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/LLM guardrails, governance automation, readiness gates
• Familiarity with tracing, logging standards, evaluation workflows for AI
• Assessing third-party AI providers/models from risk perspective
• Privacy-by-design in data-sensitive systems
• Regulated environments or developer guidance experience
