IT Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

IT Analyst (Fintech): Supporting the development and enhancement of retail and credit technology solutions within a regulated banking environment with an accent on requirements management and solution design. Focus on translating business needs into technical specifications, documenting data lineage, and enabling collaboration between business and IT teams.

Location: Hybrid (Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw, or Łódź). At least 3 days per week from the office

Salary: 800-1200 PLN per day (B2B)

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end requirements management for complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured, and testable technical requirements.
• Collaborate with business representatives, architects, and developers to support solution design.
• Analyze systems, data flows, and integrations to ensure scalable and reliable financial solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders to facilitate alignment and informed decision-making.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal analysis practices and workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Senior IT Analyst in complex IT environments.
• Mastery of requirements management: elicitation, documentation, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Experience working in large-scale regulated organizations, preferably in finance, banking, risk, or credit domains.
• Ability to document and explain data lineage, data models, and system interactions.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex topics to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw, or Łódź (minimum 3 days/week).

Nice to have

• Experience working in Agile environments, specifically with the SAFe framework.
• Knowledge of structured analysis techniques such as BPMN, UML, and data modeling.
• Strong facilitation skills and the ability to build consensus without formal authority.
• Proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
