What you will do
- Design and implement security strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps to protect digital assets.
- Identify, assess, and manage security risks and communicate mitigation recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead the transition from managed detection and response services to an in-house capability using Datadog and PagerDuty.
- Establish and manage on-call incident response protocols to ensure swift and effective response to security incidents.
- Collaborate with the Privacy team to establish data security practices and policies complying with international standards.
- Provide hands-on expertise to achieve and maintain PCI DSS certification.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Security Engineering roles.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale security projects and implementing data security initiatives.
- Hands-on experience in managing and mitigating security incidents effectively.
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001.
- Proficiency in AWS security frameworks, tools, and practices for cloud-hosted environments.
- Strong coding skills with a focus on security-oriented development and proficiency in Datadog and PagerDuty.
