Principal Systems Engineer (Embedded Audio)

What you will do

• Act as the technical point of contact for the EMEA HEA Sales team, delivering technical presentations and demos to potential customers.
• Translate customer needs into structured technical documentation and product requirement definitions.
• Provide budgetary product and NRE cost estimates during early feasibility stages.
• Identify EMEA-specific process deviations and align them with global engineering teams.
• Support technical triage and feasibility reviews for new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with program and project engineering teams to ensure project alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in systems, electrical, acoustic engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development or systems engineering.
• Proven ability in requirements gathering and early technical scoping.
• Experience with cost estimation for BOM and NRE efforts.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in technical management.
• Experience with machine learning techniques applied to audio.
• Fluency in European languages or Mandarin.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
