TL;DR

General Manager (Gamedev): Leading the development and strategic vision of a new free-to-play football mobile title with an accent on full P&L ownership and team assembly. Focus on steering multi-year game strategy, maximizing revenue via commercial roadmaps, and establishing high-performance Live Operations.

Location: Hybrid (Barcelona), 2 days per week in office

What you will do

  • Lead the multi-year strategic vision and product alignment for a new football title.
  • Own full Profit & Loss (P&L), managing budgets and designing commercial revenue roadmaps.
  • Build and nurture a high-performance development team based in Barcelona.
  • Oversee state-of-the-art Live Operations, including events, promotions, and content updates.
  • Drive a data-informed culture using player analytics to anticipate market shifts and guide priorities.

Requirements

  • Expertise in leading large F2P projects from early prototype stage to profitable Live Operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mobile games business, including product strategy, design, and user acquisition.
  • Deep mastery of the F2P landscape, preferably within the sports or football gaming domain.
  • Proven track record of leading diverse global teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Executive leadership skills with a focus on professional humility and exceptional communication.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Barcelona on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

  • Executive experience in global contract negotiation.
  • Enterprise-level product and market understanding beyond standard production.
