What you will do
- Lead the management of regulatory and legal risks related to platform work across the European Union.
- Manage and coach a team of EU employment lawyers based in multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide high-quality employment, immigration, and commercial law support to Rider operations.
- Design pragmatic strategies to mitigate legal risks based on the company's tech stack and operations.
- Oversee employment litigation and track regulatory developments across assigned markets.
- Drive continuous improvement of legal processes, reporting, and operational workflows.
Requirements
- Fully qualified employment lawyer in an EU jurisdiction.
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience, including a solid background in litigation and platform-based business advice.
- Proven people leadership experience in complex, international environments.
- Deep expertise in EU employment law and in-depth knowledge of the Platform Workers Directive.
- Full professional proficiency in English and fluency in at least one additional European language.
- Experience operating within matrix-structured international organizations.
