What you will do

• Design and execute tests for backend systems, APIs, databases, and service integrations.
• Validate API functionality and performance using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Test database operations, queries, and data integrity with PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with engineers to review pull requests and ensure code quality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services.
• Document defects and test results using TestRail or similar tools.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–3 years of experience with backend technologies, testing, or software development in test roles.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and validating queries/data integrity.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Understanding of backend testing practices including API, database, and integration testing.
• Comfort reviewing pull requests and backend architecture changes.

• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail.
