Network Controller

TL;DR

Network Controller: Monitoring and proactively supporting the daily operation of hirify.global Data Network, including NCC, remote sites, and satellite uplink sites with an accent on data collection, distribution, broadcast processes, and minimum downtime. Focus on responding to alarms, fault isolation and resolution, documenting actions, and providing customer support on rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.

What you will do

• Monitor NCC operations (remote site data collection, central computer, data distribution, uplinking) and respond to data alarms.
• Fault isolate and resolve issues using internal/external resources.
• Document alarms, actions, perform data archiving, plotting, and collate performance statistics for reports.
• Assist with system changes, coordinate planned outages with providers and clients.
• Provide customer support, respond to calls/emails/faxes, and propose operational improvements.
• Maintain NCC procedures, security, and safety measures.

Requirements

• Diploma or college coursework in information technology required; degree in computer networking systems or computer science preferred.
• Computer networking knowledge and integration with other systems.
• Good computer literacy, competence in Windows, Red Hat operating systems, and common office software.
• Able to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment.
